Postnatal which is also known as Postpartum is relating to the period after childbirth. This period begins immediately after the birth of a baby and defined as the first 6-8 weeks after birth. Childbirth is a joyous time for a new mother and her family members but on the other hand, the post-pregnancy period involves many changes, both mentally and physically for a new mother.
